报告摘要:

In this talk, we focus on the so-called differential-algebraic equations (DAEs). We demonstrate the feasibility of associating any DAE, whether linear or nonlinear, with a class of ordinary differential equation (ODE) control systems. This connection enables the application of classical control theory to address DAE problems, including tasks like linearizing nonlinear DAEs. Additionally, we delve into switched DAEs and their practical utilization in electrical circuits. These hybrid systems commonly exhibit impulse behaviors or jumps. Our primary objective is to establish a precise mathematical definition of jumps, which we then employ to address the challenge of achieving consistent initialization in circuit simulations. Lastly, we share results from our investigation into stability analysis for switched DAEs using the Lyapunov method.


报告人简介:

Yahao Chen received his PhD within the field of differential-algebraic equations and geometric control theory at INSA Rouen Normandie, France, in 2019. Afterwards, he did postdocs at the University of Groningen, Netherlands (2019–2021) and the Renault Chair at Centrale Nantes, France (2021–2023). He will be a tenured researcher (CRCN/ISFP) at INRIA Rennes.
